What we do

Trusted to deliver complex civil packages.

CIV360 is a Victorian civil contractor delivering earthworks, drainage, retaining and concrete works for major infrastructure and development projects. With more than 15 years of project history, our crews are trusted by tier-one contractors and government agencies to deliver complex packages safely, on program and to specification.

Our work spans bulk and basement excavation, stormwater drainage, shotcrete and soil-nail retaining walls, form, reo and pour for retaining walls and capping beams, services routes, road and rail formation, and trade labour and plant hire. We deliver across every scale, from boutique developments to city-shaping transport projects.

We work to a One Team model: we integrate with our clients’ project teams, share the planning and take ownership of the outcome. It is an approach that has earned our crews a strong safety record and a reputation for dependable delivery.

Our capabilities

Our focus is simple: develop our people, deliver for our clients, and build relationships that last.

Our history

Well over a decade on Victoria’s major infrastructure.

Behind CIV360 is a team that has spent well over a decade on the ground on some of Victoria’s most significant infrastructure, including the South Eastern Program Alliance, the Metro Tunnel’s Franklin Street West shaft, Suburban Rail Loop East and the West Gate Tunnel Project. Over that time, our crews have built a reputation for delivering safely, reliably and to program.

CIV360 is built on the people, crews, plant and standards our clients already rely on. Our name reflects the full-circle civil capability we offer, from early works and excavation through to drainage, structures and handover.

How we work

Partnering for success.

Commitments that shape how we plan, resource and deliver every package.

  1. Safety as a priority

Safety leads every decision on our sites. Crews are built around relevant experience and supervisors are accountable for their teams. That consistency is why our crews are trusted in live rail corridors, deep shafts and other high-risk environments.

  2. A strategic partner with the strength to support you

We engage early, understand the program and plan around its constraints, from rail occupations to staged shaft excavations. You get a civil partner that anticipates problems rather than reacting to them, with the people and plant to follow through.

  3. Fit for purpose

We own a modern fleet of excavators, graders, floats and water carts, backed by long-term partnerships with specialist equipment suppliers. We self-perform critical activities rather than relying on labour hire, giving you more control over program and quality.

  4. Working collaboratively

Our client base is built on long-standing relationships with tier-one contractors and government alliances. We earn them by being easy to work with: open communication, clear accountability, and the lessons of each project carried into the next.

  5. Certainty of delivery

Our track record is measured in programs met. At South Dynon, we completed the first half of the TMF carpark in four weeks against a five-week program. At Dublin Road, every task was completed within its scheduled rail occupation.

Leadership

Anthony Vavallo

Director · CPEng NER

Anthony is a Chartered Professional Engineer with more than 20 years’ experience delivering major infrastructure across Australia, including the Craigieburn Bypass, the Adelaide Desalination Plant and the West Gate Tunnel Project. His background spans engineering, construction management and project leadership, so he understands what clients need from a civil contractor: safe work, clear communication and certainty of delivery.

Since joining the business in 2022, Anthony has led its day-to-day operations through a period of strong growth. As Director of CIV360, he sets the company’s direction and stays closely involved in project delivery, working directly with clients to plan works, manage risk and keep projects on track.

Our team.

Behind every CIV360 project is a team that has worked together across some of Victoria’s most demanding infrastructure. Our people have delivered on level crossing removals, Metro Tunnel and Suburban Rail Loop shafts, the West Gate Tunnel and major alliance programs, often in live rail corridors, deep excavations and tightly staged occupations. That experience shows in how we plan, communicate and deliver.

    Project leadership

Our project managers and engineers bring Tier 1 experience to every package. They work alongside client teams from early planning through to handover, managing program, cost, risk and documentation, and making sure crews have what they need before they need it.

    Site supervision

Our supervisors are the link between the program and the work on the ground. Most have come up through the field, so they understand the sequencing, the plant and the safety controls that complex sites demand. They lead daily planning, coordinate with other trades and keep clients informed as the work progresses.

    Skilled crews

Our operators, labourers and trades make up a directly employed workforce of more than 200. Many have worked together for years and are experienced in deep shaft excavation, rail formation, drainage, shotcrete and concrete works. Because they are our own people, we can mobilise quickly, scale up when the program demands it, and provide consistent, familiar crews for the life of each project.

  • Office and support

Our office team supports every project with estimating, procurement, plant and logistics, payroll, HR, and health, safety, environment and quality systems. They keep our ISO-certified systems running, our people trained and inducted, and our clients’ reporting requirements met.

Together, these teams give clients one accountable partner from mobilisation to handover: people who know the work, know each other and know what Tier 1 projects require.
